Back in a Cleveland groove...

So we're back from our vacation to several points tropical. A good time was had by all, and did give me the little kick I needed. I've been writing almost non-stop since we got home, and it's been a total high. I can't remember the last time I wrote like this. I've started outlining 2 more screenplays and have worked out or started writing 3 short stories (two of which have the definite potential to become screenplays).

I'm still trying to work out exactly what's going to become of 'The Attic'. I haven't decided if I want to turn it into a movie, and film the movie, or shoot the first episode and an extended trailer and shop those around. I have to do SOMETHING with it - I've got an amazing cast and some extremely cool f/x makeup (a huge 'thank you' to Tom at Cleveland FX for that!). Aside from that, the characters just talk to me in that certain way that lets me know I will be haunted 'til the day I draw my last breath if I don't give them the attention they deserve.

In closing, I read a slightly cheesy bit of inspiration on my way home from class that has stuck with me all day. I'm about to share it with you, so if you're not in the mood for that kind of thing, stop reading now...

Sorrow looks back, worry looks around, hope looks up.

Cheers y'all!
